March 14th, 2017: The Day of the Blizzard. My car is still very much snowed in, so I’ve spent the day sleeping, shoveling, and keeping the fires going in my dad’s place. I’m going to be calling my soon-to-be employer tomorrow afternoon to accept the job offer – and I think I’m feeling good. I know I’ll be disappointing many people by turning down Chicago, I just hope I won’t be disappointing myself. Choosing this option means I’ll have a master’s degree, two years of work experience, and two internships under my belt by 23. Not bad! I have my whole life ahead of me to move to a new city.
Anyway, I’m hoping this will be a place for me to share the goings-on of this next step in life, and more importantly, a place for me to look back on what happened during this crazy adventure called grad school.
